A picture is worth a thousand words, right? Well, in this case, we’re hoping our new logo is worth that and more – that it shares our values, our mission, and our vision with you!

Some of you may ask, Why rebrand at all? RENEW is tried and true, a name loved for more than 45 years that the Catholic community has recognized for its expertise in encouraging discipleship and building community. So why branch out?

Well, the simple answer is that it seemed like the perfect time. In an increasingly digital world where everyone seems to have less time and more to do, we were already evaluating the experiences we offer and reimagining them to better meet your needs. While we were rededicating ourselves to flexibility, creativity, innovation, and customer service, it seemed like the right time to update our image too!

So how did we design our new look? We loved the symbolism of our logo and wanted to make sure that the connection to nature, to new life and new hope that was represented in the flourishing tree held true in the new face we would soon be showing the world. We also wanted to highlight our dedication to communities and small groups and to make the face of RENEW attractive to all generations.

So we went to work. We chose bright, vibrant colors—teal, green, orange, and purple—and incorporated a branch symbolizing our commitment to new life, to growth, and to adaptation. Just as a tree grows new leaves in the spring and sheds them beneath the harsh winter winds, so RENEW ebbs and flows— developing experiences, publishing books, customizing resources, and discarding what is no longer needed in today's world.

The circle in the background represents our commitment to building communities, encouraging people to come to the figurative round table where all are equal and everyone’s thoughts contribute to the journey of the whole.

And finally, our tagline, “connecting faith and life.” Isn’t that the most important mission of all, not only for RENEW but for all of us? We are all called to be disciples, to live our faith every day and to show others what it means to be a Christian through our words and actions. And if RENEW can have a part in that, can support you in discovering and discerning how you are called to be a Christian, well, then perhaps we, too, are fulfilling the resounding call to discipleship.
